“Home” are loose knots of domestic and urban lines that blur the boundaries of interior and exterior, public and private, as well as one’s family bubble with another’s.
The project is inspired by both the linear spatial layout found at multiple scales in Bangkok and the ubiquitous shared/multipurpose spaces. As Kim Dovey and Kasama Polakit said in their Loose Space: Possibility and Density in Urban Life: "Space is not a stable framework within which things or subjects exist but is constructed through flows of desire between them." The project plots domestic life on linear lines. These meandering lines of life cuddle, clash, and intertwine with one another to foster a strong sense of community and create moments of surprise.
